Q: Introduce yourself… don’t get all shy on us either!

A: Well, you already know my name- I’m Paul and I just launched a brand new website! Is this awkward? Like, I mean, you’re on the site so you already knew that. Ok, taking a deep breath. Let’s see, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I really think my life started when I moved down to San Diego with my family at the majestic age of 14. Yes, I was heading into 8th grade, the real talk WORST time to move and change schools. Ok, so as I’m writing this I realize that my life actually got a lot worse before it got better when I moved to San Diego. It was then that I was bullied for the first time, targeted for being different and pretty much went through a lot of suffering. Alas, high school.

Ok, so I don’t want to turn this into a pity party but that part of my story is very important to my journey. Anyway, fast forward through all the pain and teenage angst and I found myself in Boston attending Berklee College of Music, where I got my degree in Songwriting and experienced one of my personal proudest moments- no, no, not making it to the second round of American Idol, pulling a Cher Horowitz (Clueless, hi Alicia!) and talking my way out of not graduating. It’s a story. Oh man… memories!

How do I introduce myself in a concise manner? I guess it’s my blog so I can do as I please… keep reading!

Next stop, NYC, the true place I came into my SELF. The city is where I stepped through my fear, embraced my truth and empowered myself to truly just be, well, me! It was quite possibly even more painful than high school, but at the same time it was so freeing. Five and a half years later I set my eyes on sunny San Diego and moved back home truly ready to heal.

Today you can find me fighting to live with purpose every single day. This site is an embodiment of my truth, an epicenter of all things self love and light. A safe space. It is my hope that you’ll enjoy spending your time here, learning about yourself and fingers crossed we might even get to work together to truly explore your magic!

Q: Three things you cannot live without

A: My husband, bulletproof matcha lattes (who knew I’d be that guy) and a fancy pair of shoes.

Q: Outside of being a self love coach, what makes you tick?

A: Great question! Music. I love good music that you can really move to- something with a heavy beat and great lyric. Oh and learning, I’ve recently learned to love learning. I used to despise it… hashtag I thought I knew everything.

Q: Define Self Love and what it means to you

A: Self Love is giving yourself permission to be ok with the journey. Self Love is settling into your seat, buckling up and enjoying the ride. Self Love isn’t easy, but it’s the key to healing this world.

Q: Favorite Quote of the moment?

A: Stop worrying about what others think of you and focus more on how you think of others
