So, I’m casually realizing that all of the magical humans I’ve interviewed for this series are either people I’m obsessed with on Instagram or people I absolutely 100% want to be friends with IRL (that’s In Real Life, fam… if you were wondering). Side note, isn’t it funny how we use all these abbreviations for things but half of the time we have to explain what they mean when using them? It’s like, why use them in the first place? I digress.
Meet Coco Kislinger, basically the woman who saved bread. Yes, that is who she is. She saved bread. You see, in my eyes, bread was on the way out, like, everyone is either gluten free, in denial that they need to be gluten free, or don’t even know what gluten is. The reality of the matter is that the gluten that has graced our tables in the U S of A is casually really really bad for us (fight me on this one) and most of us definitely do not need it in our lives. Anyway, I could go on and on about this, but I won’t. I’ll just introduce you to Coco, a woman who makes the most divine vegan, gluten and dairy free Sourdough bread that goes on sales every Saturday and Sunday at 10AM. If you don’t know, now you know. BAM.
A: Hi, I am a baking witch, world traveler, animal video lover, fruit eating magician in the kitchen and just recently confident enough to say all of those things… yay!
A: Clean food.
B: My Bushel & a Peck moisturizing stick. I use it on my eczema and all over my body to moisturize and I can’t tell you exactly why but it gives me an insane amount of comfort. It also is the smoothest, light but thick, moisturizer I’ve ever used and I’m in love with the way it makes me feel.
C: My retainers, my teeth are shifting rapidly and those things are expensive to fix.
A: I’m all about education these days. I don’t know everything but what I do know is that we are an uneducated population, and it’s not our fault, entirely.
A: I’m realizing that self love can be WHATEVER makes you happy. I thought for a while it was going out and getting a manicure or your hair done or taking a bath with some hella expensive bath balm things, but that’s not me. Shaving my legs is not self love, that’s annoying. My version of self love is pushing myself outside of my comfort zone but it’s also getting rid of things or friendships that are no longer serving me.
A: I’m currently in love with Brene Brown and everything she says.
Ok, fam, another Sunday has come and gone but that doesn’t mean you can’t relieve all the past Q&A’s! Oh and if you buy bread, which you must must must please tell Miss Coco that I sent you. She’s such a wonderful human and I want her to know how much the world needs/appreciates/supports her mission! #cocosavedbread
