Self lovers! We are super excited because this week Paul is celebrating his 50th episode!
And he’s also switching things up a little bit. He’s sitting down with Rob Lawless of Robs10kfriends for a very candid conversation where he shares the importance of active listening and human connection.

In this episode, Paul also gets vulnerable and shares more details about his own life, the version of Paul not everyone knows, and how he has overcome adversities through self-love.

The man on a mission to meet ten thousand people

Rob Lawless, from Norristown, PA, graduated in 2013 from Penn State University with a degree in Finance and minors in Accounting & Entrepreneurship.

After working for a couple of companies and realizing the traditional life path wasn’t for him, he set on a mission to follow his passion; meeting new people while making authentic human connections in the process.

Rob started this project in July of 2016. So far, he’s been able to meet three thousand people across 20+ cities in the U.S. and Canada. This human connection expert is an avid active listener. He

But since Rob loves meeting new people, and Paul wanted to become one of his 10K friends, they both saw this as an opportunity to learn more about each other.

In this episode, Paul has the opportunity to share more about his journey with his followers as he tells Rob the story of how he became a self-love coach and the steps he needed to take at a personal level, to find happiness and find his mission in the world.

Paul was born in the Bay area where he lived until he moved to San Diego at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, he attended college in California for a while before transferring to Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Upon receiving his undergraduate degree in songwriting, he moved to New York City with an internship in Music Supervision. While in the big apple, he also worked for different brands such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier.
Nevertheless, something didn’t quite click.
He recalls those years of people-pleasing and living his life for others tiring as he wasn’t speaking his truth.
